AFGHANISTAN
As of 10 March, 33,000 people in Kandahar province have been identified as requiring humanitarian assistance following floods that struck the province at the beginning of March. According to assessments conducted by the Government and humanitarian partners, 2,800 houses have been damaged and 1,850 houses destroyed. Assessments are still ongoing in affected areas that are difficult to access due to insecurity. Humanitarian partners have so far provided 673 flood-affected households with tents, NFIs including winter clothes, food assistance and hygiene kits. The Government has reportedly allocated 126 million Afghanis (US$1.7m) for assistance including shelter repairs, agricultural assistance and food. Since 2 March, there has also been extensive flooding in Hilmand, Herat and Farah provinces, and humanitarian partners are continuing to conduct assessments and provide assistance in these areas.

PAKISTAN
Heavy rain and snow across Balochistan, Pakistan Administered Kashmir, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has resulted in a series of flash floods. According to Government reports, 46 people have lost their lives with 50 people injured in affected areas. 2,600 homes were also damaged across the affected region over the last two weeks. Local authorities are providing immediate life-saving assistance to those affected, and no formal requests for assistance have been received.

INDONESIA
Heavy rainfall caused flooding in parts of East and West Java provinces, as well as West Nusa Tenggara Province on 6-7 March.
According to Government reports, at least nine people were killed, and more than 168,000 people affected. In Bandung District, West Java, 22,105 households in 10 sub-districts were affected. In East Java, around 4,490 households in 15 districts were affected.
Flooding and landslides were reported in West Nusa Tenggara Province, with seven people killed and 684 people displaced. Rapid Response Teams from BPBD, military, police, Red Cross, local government officials and volunteers have supported the search and rescue efforts.

MYANMAR
In Rakhine State, more than 3,200 people were displaced since 4 March following intensified fighting between the Myanmar Military and the Arakan Army (AA). Displaced people are sheltering in monasteries or with host families in urban areas or other locations of Mrauk-U Town. Local community and civil society organisations have provided immediate assistance to the displaced people.

In Shan State, more than 500 people from ten villages in Kyethi Township were displaced by fighting between the Myanmar Military and the Shan State Progressive Party/Shan State Army (SSPP/SSA) on 10 March. The displaced people are sheltering in two monasteries in Kyethi Town. Authorities and local community have provided the displaced people with food and other basic items.
